Then i would suggest going older school a 57-60 dodge power wagon that has be restored(even though i do not like dodges) the military used power wagons for eons because they were made tough as nail like a willy's jeep...as for not believing your wife that is your problem, you chose her for life(your helpmate) and i am quite sure you are not the negotiate she thought you were...since usually the wife makes the man into what they want over a lifetime of marriage...so conceivably you need to work on your self some more maybe by the time you get to the call a halt of your life just maybe you will be unblemished but somehow i doubt it....but i agree everything built today would not stand up to the old manufactured goods of the past ..they are designed to break down so you will keep hold of buying more "disposable goods"(ain't that funny how that phrase describes what they are and how they hold up under normal use)...DOH! :)...just my 2 cents...
