My 2002 Dodge Neon Won't Start After Driving Through Water And Stalling. How Do I Get It To Start?

I need some advice on how to get my vehicle to start

Answer:
You need to carefully consider two things before doing anything.
1) Was your engine flooded contained by deep water?
2) Was the stalling due to simply splashing water?

If your engine flooded due to human being submerged in water then you must remove adjectives spark plugs before trying to start the engine.  (I would do this in any event just as a safekeeping measure.)  If you have water contained by the cylinders and you try to start it, you will blow your engine because water can't be compressed.  Remove the spark plugs from all cylinders and then turn the engine over to push out the hose.  If it is this flooded, I would pull the engine and rebuild it.  You will also need to replace the grease before starting the engine, as well.

If your engine died just by individual splashed with water, then dry out the spark plugs and check for moisture where on earth the plug wires attach to the distributor or in the distributor (electronic).  You more than likely have moisture contained by the electrical parts that control ignition, and this must be dried out.  If you got water into the control module (computer) take it to a mechanic.

An grease change is in order as in good health.  Water in your oil will cause the grease to froth up like whipped cream and kill your engine.
