If You Voluntarily Return A Vehicle In Missouri Is It Still Considered A Repo Even If You Kept Up On Your Payments, Even If They Resale It And They Say You Owe Money, Is It Still Considered A Repo?

I was just wondering about the return policies on cars? What is certainly considered a repo on your credit report? If you kept up on your payments but return the car, is that a repo? If the company resales the car for less than you owe after you owe them, it that considered a repo?

Answer:
Yes, it is considered a repo., but places report it to your credit bureau as a  "voluntary surrender"  and also report the amount you owe after sale and if was paid or not. For the best info, catch a copy of your credit report (you are allowed 1 free report per year). If you pay off the amount owed, make sure it is reported, check your report again. You may want to endow with them time to get all the info in your report so it is complete. At best, you can hope the vehicle sell for more than what is owed and they may owe you money !   I have done this and my credit standing was still very fitting, it didn't seem to change.
