1992 Ford Aerostar Van?

I had to hold the gas about half style in to keep it running until I got it home. I permit it set for awhile, It was hard to restart, I go it started and it decline slightly rough for about 2 minutes before stalling, It would turn over after that but never would act similar to it wanted to start. I could smell gas. This van has fuel injection.

Answer:
Check for ruptured diaphragm on fuel pressure regulator (on the injector rails on this model, I think)....
Go to Autozone.com and click underneath trouble shooting.  Look for common causes under respectively problem.  Look to see if points plugs and wires may need replaced. You will have to research it further.  Husband and i had same problem beside his van and put new plugs and plug wires and distributor cap on it and then put fuel injection cleaner from Walmart call Injection cleaner and ran it for about 15 miles with small amount of gas surrounded by it and then put $10.00 in it and ran it for couple days close to that then put another bottle of injection cleaner in it and filled the reservoir all the way up and now the van runs pretty.
