After Pulling A Vacuum To Check For Leaks On My Auto Air Conditioner Should I Release The Vaccum To Recharge?

I am repairing my auto ac and wonder if it is necessary to release the vacuum before charging the unit near freon. I have a full size van with axillary air. Is in that a difference in charging with or without a vacuum?

Answer:
Do not release the vacuum as you will allow moisture to enter the system, while you enjoy vacuum start adding freon until there is no vacuum then start the section and continue to add freon to the required amount.
Comment: dude, no. You are quite mistaken. releasing the vacuum will impose air and moisture to return to the lines which will in turn cause the ac not to work properly.
