Do I Use Pure Coolant Or 50/50?
Answer:
Best to use 50/50. NEVER use pure coolant, NEVER use just water.
What we call "coolant" is also a corrosion inhibitor that keep your cooling system from rusting. If you used just water things would rust up really fast!
Water boils (normal pressures) at 212f, coolant contained by general raises this to around 230f!
Depends on the vehicle and what the manufacturer suggests using.....however it is suggested to use a 50/50 mix for radiator months and a pure mix for winter months..
