1990 Ford 150 Manual - Will Not Start - No Crank, No Lights - Dead. Tried Jumping Still Nothing - Battery? Or Something Else That Control Power? I Know Nothing About Cars. Can You Help?

Answer:
You could have a bad ignition switch. And It might be worth a try to look at the battery cable.

Are you pretty sure that the jump start was tried correctly?

Did this problem happen suddenly?
Comment: Yep - Drove it a couple of weeks ago to draw from some wood. Then tried recently and it was dead. Checked the cable look fine. I switched out the battery and it started. Thanks for the help
