Can One Be Repaired?
Can a water well pump be repaired or are they a sealed section?in other words is it cheaper to repair or replace a pump in the long run?

Well, there are a couple of factor here to consider.
How old is the well pump and what exactly is wrong with it?
Did the contacts stick? Maybe they entail to be sanded a little bit, just to verbs them off and sprayed with WD40. But if they are burnt, after just take them off and step to the supply store and purchase a new set. Just remember to take the make and model number near you. Might be helpful to take the old set along too.
Did the motor burn up? If so, I would suggest replacing it.

Comment: i 'm doing good ,lately noticed that my water flow is off and on approaching it is losing it's prime or past it.:) you seem to know something about this hold you had to do it? i don't even know how deep my well is. i've watch a couple episodes of this old house where they we're fixing one never saw them actually repair one though. if you enjoy done this before how long did it take to pull the pump?
