The Earth is called a blue planet because of the characteristic blue color of our atmosphere when seen during the morning time. Another reason for Earth being pronounced as the blue planet is because 3/4th of it's surface is covered in the deep while a small part is land mass. When observed from space the Earth can be seen within it's rich majesty in a characteristic blue color. It why our Earth is called the blue planet, because of the plenty of liquid water and vibrant processes which makes it distinct contained by our solar system because it can also support life.
