Go check him/her out a few times before you buy him/her and ask the owners what he/she likes and how much ridden he/she needs(if he/she is for ridden) also ask if there is anything he/she requirements like what kind of food does he/she take? And look at the rite he/she does when being ridden(if getting ridden) see if he/she has any behavior problems and ask questions approaching has he/she had any bad falls within the past and if he/she has ever had colic the key stuff. I am doing equine vet at collage and before you get him/her do you have any horse experience because if you dont no things almost horses you should find out as much as you can! Yes you should definatley move about and give him a check over and make sure that he has no results on his body and that he doesn't limp when he is moving. Check him all over for signs of illness or things to be of concern. The most inportant things are that he is in good health and well mannered and not pushy and that he is the horse of your dreams, as i know how you feel at the moment, as i have experianced this hunch to for a number of horses in my life.
