There are many single mothers out there who are wonderful parents. Any man who would leave a woman while she is pregnant near his child is not someone you should want around anyway. Be happy he showed his true colors sooner than later..unfortunately he have very bad timing, but you will get through this..be strong.
The exact same point happened to me, i now have for a time daughter and me n her dad get on brilliantly, so i guess it depends what reasons you broke up for? Things might change once the toddler is born, but they might not, you have to be really really strong for your baby's sake, don't let whats happened between you and the dad enjoy any effect on the baby, it's not their fault. I hope you have plenty other friends n family connections to help you through the rest of your pregnancy, i know its very scary. Be strong though it is so totally worth it when you meet your infant and you'll be able to say truly you did it all by yourself!
