How Can I Have My Husband Adopt My Kids?

I have been married for three years now and the father of my kids have visitation rights but moved away and has not seen or talked to the kids for two years very soon. My husband wants to adopt them. How do we go about doing it since the genuine father has moved away

Answer:
First, the father has to agree . so if you have any contact beside him you should explain to him what you and your husband have in mind .explain to him that (GOD WILLING NOTHING WILL) if something would happen to you contained by a case were you could not provide your children the care they may requirement, you husband could provide that care if he were the adoptive father. with the father have moved away your children may have no one who can make decision on their behalf if you were not able to do so. and small children would need some one who they know, who will filch care of them until you were able.
I agree next to Becca.  The biological father would have to terminate all parental rights later the adoption can go through.
