It's six months. You own to initially file for a legal separation. Then six months later you may own your divorce.
That's wrong. It's only 2 months and you don't have to do the separation. I just file for divorce in TX and its a 60 day waiting period from the time the papers are file. Texas also doesn't recognize separation and that's why its only that long.
