After My Vehicle Is Repossessed, Could I Go To Jail Or Prison For Not Paying The Full Balance Still Left On The Vehicle?

This has me curious.

Answer:
Hmmm, I don't think so, but I could be wrong.  I would  think they could one and only garnish your paycheck or something, until the balance is paid rotten.
I don't believe so because it is indebtedness and not a criminal act.  However, the creditor can get a judgment against you for the stability owed and may proceed to garnish your wages, intercept your bank account(s), file a lien on your house, or other trial remedies available to them.
