My Landlord Wants To Start A Monthly Inspection, Do I Have To Allow?

I have lived in this house for 4 months I have a one year lease. My proprietor just informed me that she will be doing a monthly inspection and that I have to let her surrounded by to inspect each month. She says it is her legal right to inspect that within the event there is drugs it would come back on her. For one that is an insult to even suggest that at hand would be drugs at my home but then to insist on inspecting for them each and every month. Do I Have to comply?

Answer:
If it is in your contract, consequently yes you do.  If not, then they are required to follow that contract to the letter, just as you are.  This is something I have to deal with personally, and explicitly what it came down to.  As for the drug comment they made, legalities are in the details, but they are not held responsible for ANY drug activity going on except for what they enjoy a personal vested interest in.  It sounds like they were only trying to justify the month-month inspections, and possibly they think you are an un-educated renter.  Now you know where you stand, and save in mind they will not back down from this unless you show them you will not be walked over, and as you would expect you have the contract to back yourself up in this issue.
