Normal for landlord not to paint except between tenants, you can ask him to paint but you are responsible for covering and removing your items to keep drips and splatters from cetting on your furniture etc...sometimes they allow you to purchase the paint hold on to the reciept and they deduct the cost of the paint from your rent other than that they don't paint except between tenants.....the best to you
