Is There A Limit For Rent Increase On A Private Estate?
Is it legal for a landlord to increase rent by 150% on one or more of his properties on a private estate? The property is only a 2 bed cottage and currently the tenant pay lb150. Per month the landlord is intending to increase it to approx lb360!! This is a retired couple who are not in the best of form - do they have a case? Thanks for any help
