My Cat kept me from committing suicide in my depression...After living ALONE here 14 years, my cat died...My contract lists (1) cat - No Pet Deposit...NOW...they say its a "No Pet" complex. What are California's "Therapy Pet" law? Can they force me to rewrite my contract?

I would assume that you'd need a doctors note of some kind to verify that the pet is "prescribed" (for absence of a better word) to you. I don't think they could deny you your "therapeutic pet" then.
