Renting, Then Moved. I Gave 60 Day Notice Prior To Lease Expiring. I Stayed For 3 Months After, Then Gave Another 60 Day Notice. I Was Asked To Turn In My Keys And Did. They're Asking For November Rent, What Should I Do?

Signed lease in May 2005. Lease states you need to inform landlord 60 days prior, zilch about having to leave. I sent missive 50 days prior saying I can stay if it is month to month lease, but not for another year. He acknowledged letter, I said I cannot stay for a year, he said that he cannot do month to month. I stayed after getting rent slip for 3 more months. I mailed another observe informing them I was moving. I sent check stating final rent, I was asked to turn in key and did. Now he wants rent?

Answer:
I know that if you have a rent contract and you bail out on it they could still take you to court and collect the remaining pays you owe up to the ending day of you contract and I think you could only brack it if someone else take over it not to shore about someone taking over will help but bailing out on your contact you could get charged for plus court fees hope things worked out for you
