How Long Does A Landlord Have To Ask Former Tenants To Pay For Damages After They Have Been Evicted?

My son was evicted from an apartment in 4/08 and now the tenant is asking us to pay for damages. It has been six months since he lived in that.

Answer:
As long as the landlord has receipts dating back to the time of eviction you must earnings and if a walk through was not done you could be overcharged and there would be nought for you to do but pay it,but usually the security deposit takes attention to detail of the damages, and what ever is left is supposed to come back to you, unless the damage be so bad,all of it had to be used plus more you would be responsible for what go over the deposit.
