Can My Lawyer Garnish My EX's Paycheck For A Divorce Judgement?
My divorce decree states that my ex is liable for the debt in the marriage (2001).. I hold since located the ex and want to garnish his wages for payment.. Is this a possibility? My lawyer isn't pursuing the situation and I am especially frustrated.. Please advise.

If it is in the degree yes you can but you obligation to get a court order to do so. Call your local court system and ask them how to start the process.

Answer: Your lawyer cannot do that simply the state child support agency can do it. Actually under federal law they HAVE to do it when child support is behind 30 days.
