Maytag Neptune MAH4000AWW Front Load Washer -Ratcheting Squeak Coming From The Back Of The Outer Tub Assembly?
My Maytag washer has developed a squeaking ratcheting sound as the tub spins slowly during the initial fill and wipe cycle which sound like it's coming from outer tub assembly.

Comment: Mine does the same thing. Are you sure it isn't the tub bearings failing? I don't want to replace tub bearing if the motor is bad too.
