I would have a complete system check because a septic system( the leach field) should be replaced at 15 yrs but have it checked by a licensed leach field company not your septic company unless they are licensed to avoid ripping up the exotic lawn to replace the leach field.
A septic tank should be pumped out every 3-5 years regardless
