How Do You Clean Mold From Window Sills?
I need to get my basement porthole sills clean. They have mold in them from dripping weather and moisture in the room. What is the best thing to use to cean the mold and keep it from growing fund.

A soap and water solution should take care of it as long it's not too tough. If it is you will necessitate a water and bleach solution (look on the label for the mixture usually 1 part bleach to 9 parts water) to snuff it and get rid of it.
I have a high dimensions dehumidifier in my basement which drains to the outside of the house. This seems to give support to keep the moisture level down. Mold LOVES moisture.
Comment: mix bleach with wet in a spray bottle and let sit for approx 5 min. and rinse off
Answer: Cover your skylight sills in shaving foam.
This kills the mold which stops it from growing back.
Make sure you rinse the skylight sill thoroughly and dry it, i find that using a hair dryer to dry it is faster and gives the window sill a nice shine.
