Why Won't My Hot Water Burner Stay Lite?

Answer:
Replace the therm coupling which is the pilot light assembly
HELP!

Our one year old RELIANCE 40 gallon NATURAL GAS water heating system keeps going off and Is not heating the marine. We relight it and it burns fine but then goes off randonly and we are again out of hot dampen.. BRRRR!
Our plumber removed the burner assembly looking for ANYTHING. It's a mystery. The thermocouple is in the flame as it should be. There was no debris contained by the gas tubes to the pilot and the burner. The VENT draft diverter is installed properly.

The flame goes out for no apparent reason. We can acquire the model and serial   number to verify the manufacture date. Would a faulty gas control vale rationale this? What do you suggest?

We appreciate any help you can provide.
