I would consider the conductivity to be the ability of a certain material (copper, gold ingots, silver, aluminum) to efficiently carry electricity from one point to another point. I was skilled that the ability of a material to give up electrons be the main factor in determining its conductivity.
Continuity, on the other hand, simply means that the material will alow current to flow from one point to another point, while offering a certain amount of relative resistance.
I believe both could be measured within ohms and that they would be indirectly proportional. As ohms go down, conductivity and continuity will go up.
Comment: This is in flash with what I was thinking. But is sounds like the two are reasonably similar or synonymous. A material may have higher/lower conductivity than another, but they both must have continuity surrounded by order to be conductive - right?
