If your pregnancy test was positive and you start bleeding/spotting any pinkish or brownish is indication of possible miscarriage. In this case complete bed rest is recommended along with injection fro sedation and shots of HCG or progesterone hormones are given. If your test be negative or you have not gone for test and started this spotting on due date of periods then the chances of pregnancy and miscarriage are poor.
