2 Years Ago I Was Diagnosed With Bi-Polar Disorder. I Was Prescribed Medications Like Seroquel,Abilify,Xanax, And A Few Others All Combined. 1 Year Ago I Found Out I Was Misdiagnosed And The Doctors Recommended I End All Medications. So I Did. What To Do Now?
I've been off all medication for one full year now and about 3 months ago I developed a muscle twitch in my right eyelid. It seem to happen every time I sneeze, yawn, smile, or if I'm just plain tired. I was wondering if this contained by any way is associated with some of the meds I took for a year and then stopped? I'm kinda worried because back three months ago It never happened and now it happens plentifully?
Answer:
Wow i will say that if something like that had happen to me that i would look up all and every drug that you had taken. Even if it was merely for a week. I mean all the drugs you had taken even if you have a cold and got something prescribed to you. Look up all the side effects and the ingredients that make up adjectives the drugs. Also i would look up all the ingredients, and the side effects that they may have. I know that some of drugs have muscle twitches as a side effect. Also if they give you something on top of something that you were already taking and the 2 were not supposed to be mixed, would be a fitting thing to do. I know that all seems similar to way too much work but to being with they be in the wrong. If they diagnosed you wrong they might have prescribed you the wrong thing. This is your form and it is something that should be taken lightly. I hope that i have helped. Have a suitable one
Muscle twitching or uncontrolled muscle movement can be due to many reasons but in your baggage, it is directly related with the use of seroquel and abilify. Both these medicine can cause muscle stiffness, uncontrolled muscle movements, jerk, shivering and tremors.
Other reasons of muscle twitching are twitches not caused by disease, twitches caused my anxiety or stress, diet not as much as, drug over dose, exercise, nerve damage, muscle weakness, and myopathy.
It will whip time to recover but you should visit a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment as eary as possible to avoid any future complication.
