Is It Possible To Have Stage 2 Stomach Cancer And Then To Go On To Lead A Normal And Happy Life?

Answer:
Stomach cancer is another term for gastric cancer, and is likely to occur surrounded by any part of the stomach and gastric tract. Over time, if not diagnosed on time, it spreads to other parts of the body; usually the oesophagus and the small intestine are the first areas it spreads to. It can go off due to high saline content in your diet, smoking, and less intake of fruits and vegetables.

Stomach cancer occur in different stages - Stage I, Stage II, Stage III, and Stage IV. Usually, because there are no specifically unique symptoms for stomach cancer, i.e. the symptoms could be for any of the usual gastric problems, such as ulcer, etc., most of the times stomach cancer is detected when it is in Stage II or beyond.

Statistical data shows that 6 out of every 100 cancer cases are detected in Stage II. 4 out of every 10 family treated for stomach cancer in Stage II live without problems for the next five years, which is a 40% side-line.
