How Does One Abuse The Drug Opana?
I think my stepbrother is abusing Opana, But i thought it couldn't be abused since it is time released. Opana is a type of pain medication

Opana or Oxymorphone is a powerful and synthetic opioid analgesic and is used for relief of moderate to severe pain. Oxymorphone contains morphine like Opiod that may rationale drowsiness, dizziness and lightheartedness etc. This is the prime reason why it is sought after by drug abusers. You are abusing the drug if you are taking more than the recommended dose or are using it for longer than prescribed period minus checking with your doctor. Also if you are getting a dependency on the drug, you are abusing it.
I have used and abused this drug for a long time. I hold since stopped fortunately with the help of suboxone. But the way one abuse Opana is by removing the covering. By either putting it in their mouth until JUST the coating dissolves, or by using a wet/ damp swab cloth and wiping off the coating. So look for wash clothes near the coating of the color of the pill on them. Or under neath ones shirt, with the coating of the color of the pill. One will wipe off the coating once moistened. When the coating is removed, the pill is consequently crushed and snorted.
