The hospital will contact Child Services and they will visit you in the hospital. CPS will interview you and decide what they want to do. Normally they will not cart your baby away but will visit you once a week and do random drug test. Visits & testing will continue until they see fit to close the case. Happened to my friend. Her system be clean but they tested the placenta which was positive for opiates.
