Most people that make a meatloaf from scratch own their own personal likes and dislikes in the ingredients. When I make a meatloaf I supply, onion, celery, egg, bread crumbs and a small amount of tomato sauce. Salt & pepper and a dash of Worcester sauce are added as seasonings. I shape the ingredients into a loaf and then pour some more tomato sauce over the top. Another alternative is to buy a packet of Lawry's Meatloaf Seasoning mix and follow the directions.
