YES. I have just brought home about three pounds of abort sweetbreads. Checking the National Audubon Mushroom Guide, page 641: Aborted Entoloma - formerly known as Clitopilus abortivus.Both the gilled and aborted form are edible and CHOICE, but it is the GILLED FORM that is to say ill advised to eat surrounded by case it is NOT sweetbread.
