Saving Money

The price of groceries has gone sky-high! How do you save money when you grocery shop? Coupons, weekly sales, discount stores?? Do you shop surrounded by only one store or many?

Answer:
My mom was the queen of coupons, bargain-hunting, and multiple supermarket shopping.  My sister and I picked up some of those practices.  I buy my produce contained by one place because it's less expensive and the fruits and vegetables are of better quality than other stores.  I always look for sale, and buy some things in large quantities because it's cheaper that road.  I don't use coupons so much because I don't use the products, and I'm not going to spend the money just because I have a coupon.  It's not always convenient, but it can stockpile a lot of money.
Comment: robbier, do you shop the "Farmers Market" in your area?
Answer: I shift to the Dollar store first.  Our Dollar store here has a very good supply of vegies, bread, fruit, butter, milk, eggs, beverages, tea, coffee, composition towels etc. Etc. And nothing over $1.  What I can't buy at the Dollar store I buy at Food Co. Which is a great, but cheaper, supermarket.  I avoid Albertsons, Vons, etc. As they cost anywhere from .10 cents to .50 cents more on items.

Soup has become sky-high so I watch for sale.  I can't be bothered with coupons.  I pack them around with me but then never use them so I newly don't bother with coupons anymore.

I plan my shopping with other errands that I need to do "downtown" and do the shopping finishing in case I have perishables.  I don't close to grocery shopping so I make a list and sometimes I stick to it but not usually.  I try to plan my meals and that help to save money.
I saved $50.00 this weekend on groceries by using coupons.  The grocery stores double your coupon up to a dollar.  I used a few of the coupons for items already on sale...

I think it is because you have added an acid (vinegar) to an alkali (baking soda). An sour and an alkali will react together and produce a gas, which expands rapidly, blowing the powder outwards.
