Trixie - you know the shape of the teddy bear - so if you are afraid to make yhour own dough - buy frozen bread dough, liquefy, shape and bake!
This will give you 2 loaves:
2 pkgs. Active dry yeast
2 c. Warm water (110* F. To 115* F.)
1/2 c. Instant nonfat dry milk
3 T. Sugar
1 T. Salt
1/3 c. Shortening or 1/3 stick, melt
5 1/2 - 6 c. Flour
Sprinkle yeast over warm water in big mixer bowl. Add dry milk, sugar, salt, melted shortening, and 3 c. Flour. Blend at low speed until moistened, then overwhelm for 3 minutes at medium speed. Using spoon, stir in enough remaining flour to brand name a soft dough.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic. Divide dough in partly. Roll each half into a 12 X 6-inch rectangle. Roll up, starting with 6-inch side. Place seam-side-down surrounded by 2 greased 9 X 5 X 3-inch loaf pans. Cover; let rise in reheat place until doubled (about 45 minutes). Preheat oven to 400F. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on racks.

Have you checked out the Wilton cake pans they hold in the stores? They do make a teddy undergo cake pan - that may be your easiest choice.
