Pie, Yum, I love pie. There are all sorts of pies, not just desert pies. Here in Canada, it is a huge tradition to enjoy Tourtierre, which is a french hamburg pie, used to be made with a type of bird until it became extinct. It is a mixture of porc and beef grounded and cooked with onions and seasoning, after baked in pie shell. Xmas dinner for us consists of a slice of Tourtierre, pickle eggs, Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, some have sweet potatoes, but not massively common where I live. People mostly from out of town. Then there are vegetable pies you can variety but sweeten, like sweet potatoe pie. Some are nutricious, such as quiche, which is eggs and cheese and meat with just a bottom crust, and some are so full of sugar, a diabetic would stir into shock. Yes, we have sugar pie up here. It's like a giant butter tart, mostly brown sugar. So worthy, can be either tasty or good for you. Just pay attention to stay away from too many sweets. Everything in moderation
