What Does Avocado Mean?

Answer:
Avocado is a fruit well known for its luxuriant, buttery smooth texture and subtle nutty flavour. It is a native tropical tree of the Southern and Central American beginning, but now you can find the fruit tree sprouting in regions like California, Florida and other parts of the tropical world also. The fruit formerly prearranged as the "alligator pear" has a skin which resembles leather and is very soft. The black Haas and the green Fuerte are the most widely marketed variety of avocados. The Haas is a smaller version of the avocado with blackish-brown skin and the Fuerte is known for its weaken skin.

Haas is known to be tastier and contains less water than its counterpart Fuerte which abound in Florida.  Once the avocado is slit open, the colour disappears but if you add lime liquid or lemon the discoloration slows down.
