The greatest sense of achievement sometimes is not related to the amount of hard work you do. When a person comes to a stage contained by life when he starts enjoying doing anything (be it eating, conversation, doing house hold jobs, helping others in need, cleaning your own possessions surrounded by the house, cleaning your car... the list is never ending) and does that job successfully, to be precise when they get the greatest sense of achievement. The job you own accomplished may not involve much of labour, it is the satisfaction of doing something strange for the first time in your life and succeed. Hard work need not other end with greatest sense of achievement.
In my travel case I enjoy what I have (not aspire for something I do not have and the neighbours have). I savour my house, I enjoy having good friends and economically wishers and so on. If you want to know specifically, one of the greatest senses of achievement I've had in my energy (there are many) is as follows:
One day I was coming back after betrothal ceremony of one of my cousin's daughter. It be quite late in the dark - around 11 pm. I was driving the car and my wife was sitting by my side. Suddenly we saw an antiquated couple riding in a two wheeler falling down on the road just surrounded by front of us. It was no head on collision with any other vehicle because within was no traffic from opposite side. I immediately parked my vehicle to find out what was happening. The old lady's saree (which is what ladies within India wear) had got entangled beside the spokes of the rear wheel and the wheel get jammed resulting in both falling down on the road. With a bit of luck and help from others, we could force the dress of the woman out of the wheel spokes. Luckily, this happened in front of a hotel where on earth there was a Security guard. I requested the guard to take diligence of the two-wheeler and got both the old people to procure into my car. Then the search for a nearest Nursing Home / Clinic started and with two attempts, we could found a clinic where on earth night duty doctor was available. I briefly explained to the doctor what had happen. The gentleman was not injured much but the lady have more injuries on her right shoulder. The doctor suggested an X-ray be taken next day to confirm presence of any fracture
After this was done, the chap came to me to profusely thank me for what I had done for them. I tried to explain to him that I have done zilch much expect being human to another human being in an emergency situation. He be trying to say Goodbye to me. At this stage, I asked him whether he was able to drive his two-wheeler to his residence. He be confident. But the lady was in strain and was in shock and definitely not within a position to travel in a two-wheeler. I told the gentleman to take his vehicle and organize me to his house and his wife was put in my car. By the time we reach their house, it was past midnight. The other members of the inherited were obviously very worried almost why the couple had not arrived. The matter was explained to them. The old-fashioned man's daughter prepared coffee for us and by the time we returned home, it was past 1 am.
After three months, suddenly I received a phone call and the group at the other end was none other than the chap who was involved in that accident. He have called us to invite us to the marriage of their daughter (who prepared and served coffee that night). We made it a point to attend the marriage. Believe me when I speak that we were treated like VIP's during the marriage. A stranger to me 3 months backbone became one of my best friends. The pleasure I experienced on the day of that marriage cannot be explained, it should with the sole purpose be experienced.
So a great sense of achievement in your life obligation not call for any hard work, it only required you to human. I remember one antiquated saying by one of the priests (which I heard during my school days) which go as follows:
What you earn for yourself is not your property, what you do for others is your property.
