As others gaze into the mirror (you, me, others) the reflection seen is defined as professional or unprofessional. The weighing up created by our responses, body language, physical appearance, demeanor is called professional or unprofessional.
When facing an interview we are concerned with the depiction in the mirror we will create for the interviewer. Try as we may to create a particular reflection, the portrait of who we really are is what the interviewer will see and remember. Educational knowledge and skills gives us the title of professional, but who we are as a human being can transparent out or dilute our appearance or it can thicken and brighten our appearance in the eyes of the beholder, who in this case is the interviewer.
So, what is the confidential of presenting a professional image for the interviewer. Basically, it is being ourself and revealing ourself as the lovable person God made us to become. We appear earlier an interviewer well-groomed, confident in the recognition we are intelligent, skilled and worthy of being treated next to respect. We stand tall, sit with shoulders back, boss straight and eyes on the face of the interviewer. We are open, responsive, straight forward, speaking with glibness and honesty about strengths and weaknesses, skills and abilities and our readiness to learn from others. We speak distinctly, honestly and confidently.
A professional in the workplace is only a professional when he/she is consciously aware of others; treating them next to utmost honor and respect. A professional pulls others together and is the strong link in the chain, which holds adjectives in a circle of unity.
