I do not think so, because I presume children are going to school, not boot camp, they should be able to show their individuality...but their are so copious kids who do not care about what they look like(whether it be from lack of parental guidance or simply plain ignorance) that it is hard for schools to outline exactly what is borderline and what is acceptable...once again, it a short time ago makes less work for the school systems
