Many Companies Now Insure Their Employees' Lives Without Them Knowing. This Is Known As 'dead Peasant' Insurance. Many Large Corporations Spend Millions Every Year Taking Out These Insurance Policies Without The Knowledge Of The Insured. When The Insured Person Dies The Payout Of Course Goes To The Person That Has Paid The Premium Namely The Employer. The Deceased Person's Family Do Not Benefit In Any Way And Do Not Even Know About The Policy. Is This Morally Defensible And Should Companies Have A Legal Obligation To Inform The Insured Person When They Take Out A Policy? Also Is There An Issue Here Under Data Protection As The Employee's Personal Details Are Being Disclosed To A Third Party Without His/her Knowledge?

Did not know of this happening,places that I own worked give you the option of taking out a insurance policy,and the premium is paid by the hand it is deducted from their pay,anything else would be news to me,but I can not say aloud it does not happen because corporations and businesses are out to make and get money anyway they can,even doing things that look and come across legitimate....
