Yes! These websites keep saying no but it is. If you are e-filing, the irs won't even adopt your return unless you have input your 2008 stimulus amount. Now why our is that? My return was 5300.00 (married joint) but once my 1800.00 stimulus 2008 info was input, we get like 3500.00. This is a load of bull! Basically the stimulus was more resembling an advance on your 2008 tax return.god forbid you ended up owing someone because i know they stuck it to you.
