Who Is Jonathan Stroud?

Jonathan Stroud is the author of the bestselling 'Bartimaeus Trilogy'. He was born in 1970 in Bedford, England, and begin to write his stories at the age of seven. He completed his studies of English Literature at the University of York, and worked in London as an editor of Children's books.

Jonathan published his first novel, Buried Fire, in May 1999. It be the first of a line of fantasy/mythology children's books.
