We already know that as the 7th book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" has been out since 2007.
Harry does die, but returns to life and is competent to kill Voldemort. It finishes 19 years later, when Harry is married to Ginnie and Ron is married to Hermione. Both couples have children and they are on platform 9 3/4 waiting for the Hogwart's train to whisk the children rotten to school. Which does leave me wondering if there may be potential sequels surrounded by the pipeline. Incidentally, Draco Malfoy also has a son called Scorpius but we are not told if Draco married Pansy Parkinson or not.
It is a brilliant book and it would be pointless ruining it for you by describing the action within detail.
My advice would be to get it and read it. You will not be disappointed.
