"Is This Lifetime All About Duty?"
Writer Elizabeth Gilbert in her book Eat, Pray, Love asked that question while she was recounting how she's be diligently fullfilling all her responsibilities towards her husband, work and life in broad. She was going through a bitter divorce.
Reminds me of David Lean's masterpiece, Ryan's Daughter, when the young wife complained to her priest: "There have to be more..." and was instantly and literally slapped down, "There isn't any more, child!"
