What Is Your Favorite Poem?
What is your favorite poem and why?
Answer:
I love you just the way you are It doesn't matter if you're big or small That isn't who you are You are lovely as you are Your heart is what makes you Who you are You bring out the best in others You have so much love contained by you That is what you do I feel very blessed by God To have you as my friend. Peace

Answer: I love poetry...don't know that I have a favorite...just ones I appreciate. The one that came to mind next to the question was "If" by Rudyard Kipling. I love Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barrett-Browning, silly poems by Shel Silverstein...so on.

Answer: If i could stop one heart from breaking
I shall not live surrounded by vain
If i can ease one life the aching
Or cool one backache
Or help one fainting robin unto his nest again
I shall not live in vain
I can't explain why i freshly do you know?

Answer: The Arrow by Longfellow; I breathed a song into the air, it fell to the earth I know not where for who has sight so perceptive and strong, that it can follow the flight of song. I shot an arrow into the air, so swiftly it flew, my sight, could not follow it in it's flight, long long afterward within an Oak, I found the arrow still unbroken, and the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.[ and i.e. from memory, so may be missing a word or 2.]

Answer: My favorite poem is called "Heaven" and I cant really share it here for mistrust of plagiarism. The last time I shared one of my poems I got it back several months latter with a bunch of silly pictures attached to it and credited to "author unknown". I wont let that happen again. as for major poets.. I love Elizabeth Barrett Browning,and Edgar Allan Poe.
