The miniature beagle is also called the pocket beagle and  it is approximately eight to nine inches. The name pocket beagle is used more often because it describes the concept  that give you the idea of the size of the dog ; it is bred in such a way that the size of the pocket and the dog is almost impossible to tell apart.
