My Dog Bit Someones Finger Off, Would My Dog Be Put To Sleep?

My dog bit someones finger of i know it was to pertect my child! I'm afraid my baby will be put to sleep he was my first friend.

Answer:
This depends on your law really. Are there any witnesses to the circumstances?  If your dog was reacting to a threat to your child the tenet should be forgiving.
It is wise to get any witnesses contact details, as you don't want to be sued.
Comment: I am thinking that the person missing a finger would be a witness and that person's medical strictness provider would also have some paperwork to file.

As for being sued, why wouldn't the missing finger entity sue? What action made the dog want to "pertect"?

Why was the child in this situation? How be the dog able to get at this other person? Leash law?
Answer: Sadly another factor would be the breed of your dog.
