My Dog Chews The Carpets And Pillows?

He's great but has a thing for pillows and carpets.

Answer:
I in truth sent my dog to a trainer when he was young because he was SOOO unruly, and my simply training know-how just want cutting it. Anyhow, they taught me that if he chewed on something, hold it from him and show it to him and say "NO" in a firm voice. Then you give him one of "his" toys and when he take it tell him how good of a dog he is. He learns that he can merely chew on what you GIVE to him. Usually when i go to the pet store, i take him with me and agree to him pick out a toy too. He's gotten a lot better at not chewing on random things. Only destroys his own toys. Which is what we want, right. I never had a big problem beside Sire and the trash. I just put the trash out if i know there's something in there he might walk after at night.

Just like she said we need more info. Tho elder the dog the harder they are to train. But proper prevention prevents poor performance, right? Keep the trash up, crate training is very important. Is he teething? Does he enjoy his own chew toys? Training your dog is like your child and it takes a lot of challenge and consistency. He has to know who the boss is and what he can and cannot chew on.
